Turkish Cypriot daily Afrika (16.03.11) reports that "police" evicted a British family at occupied Akanthu village. (TATLISU) "Police officers" forced Michael Tapp and his wife to leave their house and gathered hastily their belongings.

The eviction came after the director of Nesa Investment, retired colonel Salih Uz, applied to the police due to unpaid debts by the British family.

Greetings and Loads of Crocodile Tears to all the Carpetbaggers in Occupied Akanthou.

Our neighbouring, and naturally rival village, which in the old days provided a welcome extension and variation of the gene pool.

A very nice village which if remember correctly is blessed with loads of water.

I wonder how these immoral Brits would feel if the Nazis had captured a portion of southern England, and then the French started buying and moving into captured British properties at giveaway prices direct from the occupier!

It happened GR, in 1066 and the years shortly thereafter, following the Notoriously Nasty Norman Occupation... wholesale throwing out of rightful Anglo-Saxon Owners and their replacement by Norman Barons and their soldiers.

... and the whole sham, stealing affair "legalised", complete with Dodgy Kochans which stand to this day, by The Domesday Book, which records the "change of ownership".

The sad thing about these cheap greedy scumbags , is that they hate the idea of a solution and the "rump roc/dark side"
purely because they are shit scared of having to pay compensation .
Yet they still fly to paphos/larnaca . Shop in carefour /ikea .
Complain about dropping standards of people while KNOWINGLY buying property that they know is "disputed"

I would rather them say "yeh i took a risk " and be honest not that Fvcking holier than thou attitude

... absolutely woopsy, and if may add... very few of them have "citizenship" and are quite happy to cross the cease-fire line in to the Free Areas for a few hours every six months, to get their piece of bog paper stamped with a new stamp.

Lowest of the Low ... soon to be tenants or else out on their ears.

I just had to post the comment of our idiotic ex-forumer YFred who thinks it's the supermarket's fault for encouraging people to steal:

It is not so much of thieving but careless supermarket staff. If they paid the workers a better wage and actually trained their staff, perhaps they would attract more alert staff.

Good to see he is sharing his stupidity elsewhere.
