Figgy, honestly
who says no more sugar?
who says no more being childish?
Whoever said it, i mean what were they thinking!
If you cant do something whats like totally crazy like sky-diving with a group of friends at the age of lets say 35, and be totally childish and stupid whilst having fun, then bloody hell you cant be looking forward to tomorrow or the next day or the day and so on........
For we are all getting older but who says life has to stop, or being a pratt has to stop!!
And as for the sugar, i cant get enough of foods with sugar and my whatever my age is, it wont stop me from doing stuff ive always done unless im stuck in an old biddies home laying in my own shit

We were given or have acquired the ability to think outside the boundaries of just survival in personal and in terms of the human race.

For the vast majority of people (in the west at least) our fundamental needs (in Maslows pyramid) have been met.

The other 'needs' up to Self-actualization although not for all, and arguably even for the majority only in transitory phases of their lives can be achieved and often are.

But it is Self-actualization that allures many but is achieved by too few.

Why is this? Well in my honest opinion: its too much like hard work (and to reach Self-actualization - it is hard work)

Someone a lot smarter than me once said "there is nothing more common than the desire to be remarkable" all I would add to this is:

"there is nothing more common than the desire to be remarkable, but when people realize what it will take to become remarkable, most settle for being common."

I needed to get older to be able to see enjoy my grandchildren.

That is the purpose of life. To see our continuity and future Emma.

And in this contradiction I am as guilty as anyone else, perhaps more so because I can see it for what it is.... but I want to change.
