Eroglu Bottles Out On CONfederation

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Eroglu Bottles Out On CONfederation

Postby bill cobbett » Tue Mar 01, 2011 6:29 pm

Well, well, well.... despite the nationalist bluster of a few weeks ago, looks like Eroglu has had his knuckles rapped by Turkey and been told to get back with the programme, which is a federal settlement within UN guidelines and not the CONfederal not a chance pollocks he was wasting everyone's' time on.

Well, I guess Eroglu's balls are not so big after all.!

After everything Ban Ki-Moon has been saying on Democracy and Human Rights while Middle East is "burning down" with Democracy Frenzy by the people of Middle East since his last meeting with Christofias and Eroglu in January, I can only anticipate what his reactions are going to be when Eroglu comes to the next meeting with Ban Ki-Moon and says, "I want a Cyprus settlement that does not include Democracy, Human Rights, International Law and the EU Principles". Lets see how big those Eroglu balls really are to make such a demand while the Arabs are dying for Democracy and Human Rights. In politics, timing can be everything sometimes, good or bad.!

I wouldn't get my hopes up, Bill. Eroglu is a laughing stock for sure. He makes our Pres. look like a world statesman in comparison. But I think Eroglu's merely been told by Ankara to at least look as if he's trying for a solution. All that negativity must be getting to Ankara as it's undermining their strategy to pin the blame on the G/Cs for the talks failure.

If Eroglu has give up on confederation then I'm a Belgian...
