What possessed you to recommend this? :?

It’s a load of rubbish that attempts to trick unsuspecting users to install the “Ask” toolbar (which can then only be removed with something like Malwarebytes) unless you choose custom install and disable it, and it also installs cryptnet32.dll which you can read about here…

http://www.greatis.com/appdata/d/c/cryptnet32.dll.htm

Those who installed and used this crap should update and scan their computers with Malwarebytes asap.

Apart from the above, which can be easily avoided, it works like a charm. I found all the missing drivers. :D

And what if the Windows installation stops dead half way through with…

“Exception Error: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”

You reboot and it keeps repeating the same thing!

What are you THEN going to do Einstein?

You're gonna have to help your friend now or look pretty dumb!

Or did you assume that every computer that comes in is brand new, works perfect, 100% IBM compatible, and everything flows hunky dory?

That is the problem with amateurs, the think all this stuff is easy!

I have a new HP computer with pre-installed Windows 7 to set up for a friend over the weekend, and I am dreading it!
