A despotic regime like that of Gadaffi is comparable to Turkey’s illegal military occupation of northern Cyprus? :?

It’s all one big Greek salad in your head with extra fetta…

it's all about money and power. and people rising up against corrupt regimes who exploit them and their lands.

... and the internet, but I suppose that's power these days.

You are typical of how most GCs think and if you are could you explain this to humanist.

For as long the occupied territory remains, it’s in the RoC’s interests that Turkey has FULL CONTROL of it and not “Turkish Cypriots”.

This eliminates any confusion that may exist as to whether or not it’s an occupation. The TCs having any power there is nothing but a hindrance to Cyprus attaining liberation of her enslaved territory.

So Turkey’s recent moves is an excellent development for the RoC.

we want to provoke more moves like this from turkey so the embargoes/freezing of assets can start. the regime in turkey is what needs to topple.

Well we can’t be seen provoking Turkey to introduce even harsher measures can we…

Once the measures are in place and start to bite the TC community, that's when the fun will begin and it will coincide with Turkey's EU accession termination!

I just can't wait till the end of this year... I haven’t been this excited in years! :D

You really are a simpleton.

You just don’t have the capacity to deal with politics because it blends strategy with international law… two subjects that are most alien to you!

The RoC and strategy? You got to be kidding me!

I’m just wondering how that parallel would be drawn…

“Now that Despotic Gadaffi has almost been ousted, so too should the despotic Eroglu go!” :?

It is not in the character of Cypriots, either GC or TC to think out of the box. So this opportunity too will vanish unexploited. Said it in another posting in the "handouts" thread, no need to repeat it here.

seems any out-of-the-box thinkers upped sticks and left the island a long time ago... perhaps the island's greatest tragedy.
