Kindly qualify your allegation.

Ignore him.

It's hard; he's been stalking me for the past couple of days.

Perhaps when Yiannis ancestor was born he weighed in at 'ena okkas'.

Perhaps. :D

I remember in the olde days, Tahtakale had a bad reputation. If some one was crass and used language like that, they would ask.'galiba Tahtagalelisin'; 'you must be from Tahtakale'.

Deyyus = a man who sets his own wife up with other men for finacial gain. Yani, a kind of pezevegis/pezevenk.

How and when did he live amongst us??? I know nothing about quattro apart from what he/she has written... :?

He was from Tahtakale/Taht el-kala mahallesi.

Thanks,Deniz. Taht-el Kala sounds like something Gaddafi is sitting on right now! :)

I know what you mean, but Taht = under. It means 'under the castle'. Like the old word for Denizaltı = submarine was 'taht el-bahr'. Bahr / bahriyeli as you know means deniz/sea and sailor.
