Some friends of ours are looking for a long term rental for a house / bungalow or similar, that may have been empty for some time and in need of repairs / improvements etc.

They would ideally like a 1 or 2 bedroom property, with some garden space, doesn't matter if it is over-grown and wild, they will tidy it up nicely.

They have 2 well behaved pets (dog and cat) so preferably not on a busy main road.

They are willing to under-take many repairs / improvements on the right propery, which will increase its value, in exchange for long term rental (minimum 5 years) and low rent.

They would also consider an apartment for low rent and long term, and maybe doing part time cleaner / caretaking duties.

Still seeking the right property. They have had some replies from people who have old empty properties and who can see the advantage of letting it to a responsible couple for low rent, and getting the place done up too. Makes sense all round, however almost all offers up to now have been too far out from Limassol. The male is a Cypriot, and does not want to move too far away from his family, and especially his mother who is in her 80's.

So, once again, if you have, or know of a suitable property, cheap, long term, suitable for pets, and maybe in need of some work then please contact them to discuss.

Areas considered would be in Limassol itself, or nearby villages of Episkopi, Kolossi, Erimi, Ayia Fila, Germasogeia, Moutiaga, Moni, Monogrouli, or let them know where your property is and they can consider.
