Woke up this morning to get Server not found message - then notice the Wireless Connection light was the wrong colour, probably from one of our cats stepping in the switch!

Very easy to solve that problem, plug it in to the mains (the cat).

Admin wrote:Hello,

We changed server to a faster one last night and while the server is working OK it seems the DNS didn't propagate fully yet.

I am having the "Server not Found" issue as well today and I want to determine if this is something that happens to everybody or only to people from certain ISPs.

fig head and cyprusgrump seem to be using the same Internet Service Provider as I do, and I would like to know if people from other ISPs are having this issue as well. So if you are having problems with the forum today please tell me what your ISP is (cytanet, cablenet, primetel etc). You can do so with a private message if you don't want to post this info in the forum.

Meanwhile, if you encounter this problem, try to refresh your browser a few times. This seems to work for me.

Thank you

Hi Admin,

Lately a problem has arisen where I receive no notification of responses to my posts. There might be a simple remedy to this, but what do you suggest.

Another thing is that a few forum friends have in the past sent me PMs and they were never received by me. These members are not new members so I cannot see why this has happened.

I welcome any suggestions you might come up with. I hope it is nothing permanent.

Regards

Hello Deniz,

Did these problems start after the 24th of February?

Yes it does because those meds he has been taking have been working a treat. When ZoC is around, he is even a Rodney King!
