People exist with all kind of ideas. However this doesn't mean that because 10 or 100 or 1000 people have certain kinds of ideas that this is the reason for the non-solution.

The reason of the non solution is that the leaderships and the majorities of the two communities (and Turkey) did not agree for one. Those people are neither the leadership nor the majority of Cypriots.

Surely they can influence and manipulate people, eg the church, a crying president, OXI slogans all these actions phsycologically effect the masses (which includes the old and younger generation who have not really formed any political opinion) who follow like sheep and do not question whether what they think or the actions they take are right or wrong. The prime example of EOKA is right before us look at the impact they had on Cyprus history.

the reason you are seen as an extremist isthat you are unwilling to give a reasonable explination as to why you beleive what you beleve, Also, you do not seem to take on/accept/listen to what other people say...and are unwilling to talk in a rational debate about issues.

War is not the weapon of people who are rational...war is a last resort, and all other means should be found beforehand.

Debate is a rational way to go about things, and people who refuse to debate are not seen as rational, and as such are labelled extremists.

thats my view anyway...its not clear, but i know what i mean :)

i belive that the only way we shall be free is to fight

This belief is respected
and i believe this with all my life and i am willing to die fighting to free.

No problem with this either
do you see me as an extrememist?if so why?

Because you want to go against the interests of Cyprus by acting in a way that not only will not help us but will bring even more disasters to us.
If you act on your words then not only you will not be a hero, you will be a traitor. So please try to help Cyprus, not harm her.

Because we have an elected president who has the support of the majority of the population and he is the only one to decide if we are going to a war.
If you want you can run for president saying that if you get elected you will start a liberation war against Turkey. If you don't get elected it means the majority does not agree with you and therefore you have no right to act in such a way.
If you act in this way against the will of the majority of Cypriots then you will be a traitor. Here we have democracy. Not a jungle that anybody does whatever comes to his mind.

Viewpoint,

Why is it that your finger is always pointed at the other side? EOKA (at least the original) was a movement to free Cyprus from Britain. Why this always makes TC so uncomfortable I will never understand. Especially when you say on many occations you want to have a TC state free from GC adminitration.

Now for someone who hates the EOKA armed struggle for freedom you seem to have no problem accomodating 40 000 Turkish troops who claim to be here struggling for your freedom.

As for the young people on this site that are vocal, it could be worse, the forum could be filled with old GC politicians willing to sell out for bribes from foreign interests. I find a corrupt politician far more insulting to my intelligence.

We shout about getting teenagers out of a forum, but keep very quiet about traitors in parliament, how very rightious we all are.

I would gladly be shot, beheaded, and simply struck down on the battlefield by the barbarians if it meant I could gain blood revenge.

But dont worry my friends, hatred of Turkey will one day reach boiling point and all their enemies will close on to finish them off, Turkey doesn't have a friend in the world, apart from the US, and they are fickle allies and wouldnt dare stand against a combined Orthodox Assault, with Armenians revolting, and Kurds as well, and the Arabs moving in.
