BICOMMUNAL MASS RALLY FOR THE DEMILITARISATION OF NICOSIA

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Deniz and Kikapu,

You can never downplay a self confession no matter how foolish you try…

...My father was a regional commmader in the Paphos area (he was also a teacher) and I remember our house in Yalya turned into an arms depot, with us kids as the guardians and protectors of the loot...Many a night I lay in bed snuggling up to handguns, stenguns, and granades, while British soldiers serched our house...Being British they never thought to look under the doona of a sleeping child or a sick (!) woman...and they never found the arms...

I for one would never downplay anything the TMT done. My response was to you holding BIR responsible for his fathers actions.
You stated, 'But this isn't about how good or bad TMT was! It’s about Birk. pretending to be an angel and accusing others when in fact he and his family were PROTAGONISTS in the 60s debacles! Rolling Eyes''

You are accusing BIR personally. That I DO playdown. Cant you see the folly of your statement? I think you miss O too much, even as much as me.

You just don’t get it do you?

The son of a REGIONAL COMMANDER has no place to come and tell people here today (people he doesn’t even know) that they are/were the Cyprus problem!

If I was in his place I’d feel a little ashamed today and just SHUT UP!

Perhaps DOUBLE STANDARDS is a problem you Turks have always had and never noticed…

Well, let’s hope neither of you ever request that GC protagonists be arrested and tried for their involvement while downplaying and ignoring TC self confessions on here!

This may come back to haunt you later as I have the memory of an elephant when it comes to matters pertaining to Cyprus!

I am all for murderers to be tried. TC or GC doesnt matter. Have you any proof that anyone mentioned above is a murderer?

My answer to your previous answer AWOL when I lost connection with the server.

You change the tune but the end result is still the same - cacophonous as usual.

In a court of law such a self confession is damning enough to invoke an investigation into the family’s background. The circumstantial evidence would be deafening!

Unfortunately, the truth can sometimes be a cacophony Deniz…

Except that Bir was a minor during these troubling times in the 60's and as a minor, he cannot be held responsible for the actions of his family in any court of law, then or now.

Nobody said that a minor is responsible but his parents certainly would be if still alive!

Now coming back to today, do you suppose this ex-TMT kid (whose parents were active participants in the conflict - high ranking father and all) could in this day and age refrain from accusing people on the forum of things his family were committing themselves? (by his own admission)

And while he’s at it could he also refrain from issuing any further threats?

Because, I for one find his double standards, current threats, and his past most insulting!
