So 50,000 Turkish Cypriots are being manipulated by agents of the ROC in co-ordination with Germany. This is what passes for "analysis" in Turkey these days. No wonder the T/Cs are fed up being ruled by these idiots.

It would not suprise me that now the South has found a punch with the GoT there wll be attempts of sabotage on 2nd March protests. Although they are saying they will monitor banners this time around unclear on how that will happen.

As for the above well I was there maybe should of spoken to them to see who they were exactly. But I also can't deny that they are T/C if I find out will let you know. That's the funny thing when I ask who they were nobody seems to know and we all know how tightly knit communtiy we are in Cyprus everyone knows everyone.

Well as far as announcing the date of the next demo goes, it does give time for the "authorities" to prepare.

As we've seen over the past year or so, demos can be organised in more impromptu ways, removing the need for three weeks notice.

Come now, Bill. These are T/C trade unions we're talking about. The T/C protesters must have tired themselves out on their last march and need three weeks to recover: about the length of a civil servant's tea-break in the north.

The Egyptians needed 18 days to bring down Mubarak's regime. That's 54 weeks in T/C time. By which time they'll all be in prison.

Well it looks as if Turkey is really throwing its toys out of the pram, another headline (the most read apparently) from Zaman: -

In the light of recent events and the so well demonstrated desire of the Good People of Egypt for Democracy, Prosperity and Integration into the Fold of Peace and Freedom-loving Peoples, isn't there a lot to be said to extending an offer of a CU to Egypt, ..... and cutting Turdey Turkey loose, once European Capital has relocated.
