All4114All wrote:What a preconception petition to call it 'One Cyprus' the only demands on this petition are withdraw troops, give back closed Famagusta and the issue of settlers the same ultra-nationalist and zero-sum views that are repeated over and over again. If this so called 'One Cyprus' petition maybe consider the T/C views as well what we demand and even if all three points are reached by today where are the guarantees for the T/C tommorow. At the end of the day political power is what we all want to hold onto while the G/C have the advantage on international stage they will scrape every inch anywhere possible to gain but not lose. So please re-write this petition naming it 'What Greek Cypriots Demand of One Cyprus'.

Why would we care? We have 100% control of the internationally recognised RoC and stacks of Oil and GAS.

WE ARE RICH I TELL YOU, RICH, RICH .....FILTHY RICH.....

Capitalism is a law in itself. It is indestructible as it feeds on the biggest human weakness - GREED. It can never be defeated.

The TCs are more than welcome to reclaim their rights within the RoC and indulge themselves. It is up to them.

Good luck and all the best, and enjoy your 50,000 saviours whilst we just get rich. 8)

Correction: You have about 59% control of internationally recognised 'RoC'.

Thank you for the invite but I am happy to claim my EU ID card and head back North where I belong for now until a settlement :).

No, we have 100% control of the internationally recognised RoC!!

.... and what the bleeding 'ell is an EU ID Card ????????

(Think we'll find it has Republic of Cyprus on it)

Another stupid contribution from Paphitis. What we have today can change tomorrow. Here we are talking about forming an alliance with the forward looking TC's on the basis of political equality in order to run this country together and thus do away with the settlres and the Turkish army, and Paphitis writes nonsense.

That’s YOUR goal not ours!

The great majority of Cypriots are only happy to accept the TC community as a WIDELY DISPERSED GROUP OF CITIZENS of the RoC, and nothing more!

In the end that’s all they’re going to get.

Are you working on that war against Turkey theory of yours again? The one that we will start and end as soon as we incur 20 000 dead?

That is your objective. And earlier today, I even stated that the RoC should hold similar rallies in the Government controlled areas and even send a small amount of aid to the TCs in an effort to promote such alliances.

But let's face it, the TCs have had ample oppportunity thus far. And I am unwilling to accept anything short of a unified state or at worst a 1 man 1 vote Federation.

If this is not possible, then I will make do with what I have today. 100% control of the internationally recognised RoC and control over 60% of the island and enjoy the wealth of our now abundant Natural Gas reserves with my fellow countrymen.

The onus is on the TCs and not the GCs. We have the stronger position because we are the only true recognised entity, and we have a relatively strong economy. Why should I give this up?????

In this day and age, the Cypriots are far too clever for your British 20th century tactics Bananiot… you need to return to the old drawing board and start again!
