That's right, VP. Because no T/C in his right mind would want to live in a wealthy, free, democratic EU state. They'd rather live in the Anatolian toilet known as the "TRNC" under the "protection" of the Turkish army.

I am very aware what the rally was about. I am also aware that by far the vast majority of TC's want to see a Unified Island because they are thirsty to indulge in the riches the Island has to offer them. Meaning they want the lifestyle shared by the GC community. I am comfortable enough to know that I am taking a fairly even and unbiased reflection on this matter. (I am also very clear that Yes, I do want this scenario to pan out. I want to see the fall of the "trnc" for a United Cyprus where all citizens are equal).

I also want to point out here VP that it was more than one person and in a population of 45,000 people even one thousand is a significant number. I am happy to settle for 100 @ this stage.

I am confident that this action by the young TC population will lead to what I perceive positive changes for Cyprus and its People. They have proven themselves ready for a United Cyprus People where perhaps the only difference is there language, well at least for now. (On a practical level, I fail to see why the RoC public schools are not teaching all pupils the Turkish language)

Really VP, don't tell us you've fallen for Erdogan's propaganda that "forces from the south" are behind this popular uprising.

Grab your gas-mask VP, and your helmet and your life-belt, and take to the streets on the 2nd.

I re-state my comment ......... there is a small portion of Cypriots living in the 'trnc' who are clearly saying we recognise the RoC and we pledge to the President of the Island to represent us. If they are working in partnership with the free area people to Unite their Country is another matter. They exist and their cause will gain momentum because people are sick and tired of being second class citizen.

The 10 or 20 people you refer to have been around for many years it hasnt changed a thing, you still havent answered my question about how long do you need to understand nothing will change or develop as you claim? how long before you understand how stupid you sound?
