My dad bought a satnav, NNG iGO8 (v8.3).

Does anyone know where I can update his maps for the latest in Cyprus? So far, not impressed with it. Doesn't even do Oroklini or Aradippou, all marked as unknown roads.

Any help will be appreciated.

Don't mind paying for them, just need it updated.

your dad just made a bad deal only Garmin has detailed map for cyprus south (up to date ) you can found them in
http://www.geomatic.com.cy/
but they dont work with satnav .

I have a Garmin Satnav with free updates from here.

Garmin yes satnav, NNG iGO8 NO .igo maps are back dated and there are no updates in the near future .

At the moment I keep getting lost in Limassol - every time I drive into town they have dug up another bit and I am sure some of the diversions are guaranteed to send one round in circles and then round the bend -

My dad managed to get a refund as the maps were woeful. Had a hotel listed in the POI that closed down 15 years ago.....

Anyhow, I've advised him to get a Garmin. Does anyone know any Garmin dealers in either Nicosia or Larnaka? Any particular model he should look for (at a reasonable price)?

Are the maps detailed? If somebody with a Garmin can look up "Leoforos Stadiou" in Aradippou to see if it comes up please.

Most electrical retailers sell them...

Once you have it you can register on-line and download the latest maps... I've had a couple of updates since I got mine a few months ago...

I bought a Nuvi 1200 for €175 which does everything I need... you can buy for cheaper on the Intermong (Amazon, etc.) but then the Cyprus map costs you €95 on top...

Unfortunately, my car is being fixed at the moment and the Nuvi is in the glove box... at the garage... so I can't check the stadium...
