If Egemen Bagis was a Cypriot ...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

If Egemen Bagis was a Cypriot ...

Postby antifon » Fri Feb 11, 2011 11:15 pm

Turkey can do without the EU and the EU can do without Turkey, but Cyprus cannot do without Turkey in the EU, according to Turkey’s chief EU negotiator Egemen Bağış. ‘If I was a Cypriot, my biggest nightmare would be what if Turks decide to turn away from its full EU membership aspirations,’ the minister says

My comment here, admittedly my MOST ELOQUENT RESPONSE to date:

“As far as the Commission and the other states are concerned, I think the real question is how long can we let this spoiled member of the EU – the Greek Cypriot administration – hijack the interests of the European Union at large,” he [Bagis] said.

“It is time for the 26 other nations to wake up and smell the coffee.”

err... u see, mr bagis, it's turkey that has spoiled cyprus - by turning the north into a latrine. so, if turkey stops spoiling cyprus, cyprus will stop hijacking stuff in an instant. simples.

shame ur too much of an idiot - representing a basket case country - to see it.

And this is the fool that Turkey has employed to get it into the EU. No wonder Turkey's accession process is going nowhere.

I fail to see how the RoC is spoiled. Last time I checked the UN made resolutions against the Turkish Occupation of Cyprus. It's land and its people have been victims to this atrocity. Thos comments are totally unfounded.

Turkey can do without the EU.

Turkey can always join its pals in a new axis of evil - Iran, Hamas, Syria and Turkey. Good luck with that one...

These people are clowns, fascists [in the real meaning of the word] who try to coexist and be accepted by western democracies. But as the saying goes 'you can bullshit some people some of the time, but you certainly can NOT bullshit all the people all of the time'.

Another of my all time favorites is (I urge you to read my full comment at link below):

“We are a nation-state that is respectful of international law”
Clowns!!! And their stage is the world!

You will also see at the link above my favorite photo from Merkel's visit in Cyprus!
