Holes - a new game

Postby georgios100 » Thu Feb 10, 2011 12:11 am

Just posted a video on Youtube of my new ball game.

This one will definately get the kids off the computer and out to the yard.

We used to play a game similar to that with up to five holes - in Kophinou (1955-1058) We called it 'dirop' or perhaps 'drop'. Each player had a hole selected and identified by a small stone. The holes were etched out in the ground in a semi circle. The ball was rolled and the owner of the hole where the ball landed had to run and pick up the ball and target the nearest player. It was great fun. Better than being an over-weight couch potato.

COBOL ? :?

It is a very old programming language and totally unsuited to the coding of games...
