It is our role to make sure Turkey continues to pay a heavy price for its occupation.

Of course, that is why we much use the media to point our to the EU and the UN that Turkey is illegally occupying Cyprus and until she shows respect for the sovereignhty of another Country and the principles upon which the EU is based upon, she will not be engaged in conversations around EU membership and it will also be economically embargoed. Turkey then needs to decide which path she will take based on good thought being given to any decision made.

Why isnt the EU doing what you want? arent you paying them enough?

Surely the question you should be asking is: "Why isn't the EU doing what Turkey wants?"

After all, the ROC is such a small country and Turkey has aspirations to be a regional superpower. And yet Turkey cannot persuade the EU to do a single thing in its favour. Why is this?

the eu is helping... immensely, because, since 2004, they (the eu) are we (the free cypriots). so we're not worried in the slightest. nor should we be. nor should we listen to anything u say, because - like the northern latrine u inhabit - ur full of sh*t.
