My cousin bought the original ipad from pixmania a few days ago. 389 euro shipped using the coupon code cy5. Thats a good price I think although soon there will be many used ones available for under 300. At that price I am considering to buy one too but I was told that itunes store doesn't support Cyprus and you can't buy apps or anything else from it. Is this true and is there a workaround?

@ Claus: There is a way to cheat of the itunes store when making an US accuont so you dont have to put a credit card. Just go by the applications section, and press to download a free game, app, etc. Then it will ask you to make an account. AND you have the option to have or not have a credit card. THats what I did!

That work around would work for free apps. But if you want to buy an app you will not be able to to it because your credit card info would not match.

Apple iPad is a perfect device for browsing the internet, watching movies , reading books, playing games and stuff. i simply no longer use my laptop at home it much better to hold the ipad on the couch or in bed than a big laptop which battery does not last long and you need to be plugged in the wall!

You can surely get paid Apps even without a visa! You simply create a US iTunes account using a us address, just use a random one form the internet! and then simply buy iTunes gift cards from ebay to add credits to yoru account. voila you can buy apps speand over 150$ so far on iPad apps and i am loving it!

P.S for the people that complain about flash and hdmi and usb not on the ipad then you soimply dont get what the iPAd is! btw what you need flash for? to see Ads on websites? most video sites no longer use flash! usb? to transfer files? ermmm did you ever heard about dropbox? i dont even use a usb stick on my normal pc! hdmi? sue you can! just buy an extra cable!

i am selling my iPad 3G 32GB for 550 euro if anyone is looking for one. with ann original apple case and a new fully body screen protector. All worth over 850 euro to buy new ( btw i look after my gadgets! this one is in perfect condition, its as new! )

Selling coz i am upgrading this one to the iPad 2, will cost a lot more this early but am up for the madness of it! Also got a 16gb wifi only model as well but that is held hostage by my 2 year old daughter she simply cant get enough of you-tube on it!
