One drawback with the I pad is that there is no way to expand the memory so you are stuck with it as bought.
The lack of flash player doesn't bother me at all. With 40 million I-pads predicted to be sold in 2011 I am sure that there will be a solution to this although I doubt that it will be flash player.
I have no need for 3g on the I-pad as I primarily use it at home. When out and about if I need to access e-mails etc I use my I phone.
The I pad as I see it is an additional gadget to the PC and phone. I am a late convert to Apple and am now seriously considering replacing my windows laptop with an I mac.
The question is do you really need 3g? with the additional costs involved? If you already have a 3g phone I would say no.
I suppose 3g is useful for Google Maps etc when finding locations.
