Something big may be brewing boys and girls... now if only a few in the Free Areas organised a rally in sympathy ???????

People will have their way.

Yes, confirmed by a report in Istanbul-based World Bulletin.

What a mess!!

The Cyprus Mail reports that the community leaders of Cyprus yesterday [9/2/11] agreed to intensify their meetings after they met for the first time since they both saw UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon last month in Geneva.

Shouldn't Christofias instead be speaking to Turkey's newly appointed "ambassador" to the pseudo state, slowly eliminating middle-men, Eroğlu, pseudo-ambassador, Erdoğan, Gül, in order to expedite reaching the desired final destination, the real decision maker as per the very Turkish constitution, the head of the Armed Forces?

'One wonders on whose head the marrow will explode'.
I suspect the poor TC's and that does not include the likes of VP and Zan's family they are well off in scheme of things. This will hit the poor families initially. However, I do believe better things will come. It kind of leaves Eroglu with limited power because he is squeezed from both ends and he is damned if he does damned if he doesn't. (aside the fact that he is not pro unification man> I think if he does not want a fate like Mubarak he will listen to his people.

To whom ever suggested that Christofias ought to be talking to the Turkish governor ........... I think this should be determined by a telephone call to Eroglu from the President of the Republic who make a strong proposal to Eroglu and seeing his response. The proposal should read. Are you ready to unify Cyprus under the agreed BBF and this is what we are offering. If no let me know and I'll go to the Governor.

On the contrary, Erdogan had invited the President of Cyprus on many occasions for a 5 party conference. The only reason this doesn't happen is because the pseudo state is not recognised by the other 3 parties.

You've mixed up your recognitions.
