Gone are the days when Denktash - while in power - would dismiss opposition criticism of unchecked settler influx, compounded by Turkish Cypriots departing, in his typically offhand manner: “one Turk goes, another comes”. The T/Cs need to look across the sea to Egypt for inspiration.
The tCypriots also need to be realistic. The best we can offer is 1963, with all the repercussions of 1974 reversed to the maximum extent possible! Certainly no recognition of any dividing lines. Only if they promise that we will together fight for the right of Kurds to achieve within RoT as much as they will have in RoC!
