This is what the comminique they issued said:

The policy of the Ministry of Education to offer free food, magnanimously, to the children of Turkish Cypriots, Kurds, Gypsies and Turks, is being implemented at a time when the same Ministry refuses to offer food to the children of Greek Cypriots and other ethnicities who are confirmed people living below the poverty line.

These people who are now targetting a misery sandwich offered to kids are big liars too. These are the official figures:

1965 pupils recieve food altogether

944 are Greek Cypriots
242 are Turkish Cypriots

Bloody fools! What difference does it make if the kid that eats a sandwich is G or T Cypriot, or if it heralds from planet Mars?

re ma ebelanes?...

the quotes says and i agree with them...all kids should be fed if they live below the "confirmed" proverty line...

and then you say it makes no difference what kid eats the sandwich...isn't what your quote says?...all kids below the "confirmed" poverty line?...

the quote doesn't say stop feeding tcs, kurds, gypsies and turks...it says all kids living below the poverty line...

whats wrong with that?...

It complained that foreign kids are given food at school at the expense of Greek Cypriot kids.

really it says this?...perhaps re-read your quote again with blinkers off this time...and show me where it says what you say...

Sotos , we are telling the world that the RoC is the ONLY sovereign power over the entire island , it therefore follows that all citizens of the RoC , including the T/Cs are entitled to all available benefits. We can not demand on one hand that all of Cyprus is part of the RoC and on the other deny the T/Cs citizenship rights.

thats not what bananiot is claiming...the parent association says all kids below the "confirmed" poverty line should be fed...and bananiot has a problem with this...

Why the hell should I ask him, he didn't need asking to take this opportunity to slate us here, did he?

I know Bananiotoglu too well and his ideas about GC/TC relations. The GC are scum to him, the TC are smelling of roses.

Cheers

Citizens are not only entitled to benefits but they also have responsibilities. Those who do not fulfill their responsibilities lose their benefits and their rights.

it says children "confirmed" living under the poverty line should also be fed...and here comes the million dollar question milti...do you agree with the parents or not?...or is it a bigoted request by the parents?...

and at the end bananiot goes into a tirade regarding '65...

The Pancyprian Federation of Parents Associations Education describes as''unfair and biased''against the Greek Cypriots mainly students politics promoted by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

In''surprised''he said in a statement today the Confederation,''learned from the Ministry of Education, which informs the directors of the schools that, based on decisions of the Cabinet, all the Turkish-speaking students (Turkish " Cypriots, Kurds, Gypsies and Turks), attending public schools are entitled to free rations.''

The''free rations and provide any other assistance on the basis of ethnicity,''the statement continued,''is clearly a racist element, which organized the slightest if parents can not accept.''

''The policy of the Ministry of Education, to provide generously for free rations to Turkish Cypriots, Kurds, Gypsies and Turks students,''say the parents organized,''noted the time just the same ministry had refused to free meals for children and other Greek ethnicities, and they are presumed indigent.''

It is at least''paradox,''says,''children whose families are facing financial problems and whose parents have served, have contributed and contribute to the Cyprus Republic, to come in second place.''

As we understand gradually we are transformed into second class citizens while the Turks and illegal immigrants to receive benefits that would normally be given to families in need.

The degradation as our society has no boundaries. Come to speak Turkish, or you will perish. Them to see and be glad our politicians to.
