All the delusions that the tc on this forum spew about their motherland and coming to save them, is like them screaming we see the light at the end of the tunnel but in actuality its a train coming to plaster them flat

I think the tables have turned and the people in the occupied area have began to see that their interests are not a Turkish priority. What Turkey has also forgotten is that a vast majority of TC's voted YES to the AP. People have had enough of not experiencing similar living standards as their compatriots and want unification. I bet if the AP was favouring the Greek side the TC's would still have voted YES ..... the people are tired and want a better life ;) GO THE CYPRIOTS ;)

I have to say that in this specific case I agree with Erdogan. TC civil servants, who appear to be exactly the same as our own parasites (possible common ground?), are upset because Turkey doesn't see why it should continue providing money to pay the buggers more than they pay their own parasites?

I agree also with his reasons for the austerity measures ........ Turkey cannot afford to go under ...... who will bail her out? Greece has EU backing. Turkey is currently on her own. I am commenting on Edrogan's comments showing who is boss. A sight that some TC's on this forum have been denying for some time.

I also want a unified Cyprus and I am openly happy to admit that I want the "trnc" to fall flat on its face. Because Cyprus is one whole and complete Island Nation to be shared equally by all its citizens.

I agree entirely, but I would rather that the common ground between the two communities wasn't just privileged parasitic civil servants!

When Eroğlu responded that his administration knew about the group and who is behind them, the Turkish prime minister said: “If you know who they are, then do whatever is necessary.”

Democracy Turkey style. Mubarak is starting to look better and better all the time next to Erdogan.!

The tc do not have a say in the occupied areas and never will. Their only choice, for a democratic western style democracy where human rights are protected, is to unite with their compatriots Greek cypriots to liberate their island and enough of falling to the past to gain an upperhand over the other ethnic group. The first thing they need to do is go to the UN as representatives and citizens of the ROC and demand all UN resolutions concerning Cyprus be enforced.

From the same Hurriyet in the OP...

Edogan giving orders to Turkey's Illegal Regime to come down hard on protesting CYs...

“Who are these people [the protesters]? We have video records of them. They need to be submitted to the court. The placards cursing Turkey should not have been permitted. You have to do whatever necessary to this end,” Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said during a press conference organized in Istanbul to inform the media about his telephone conversation Sunday morning with Turkish Cypriot President Derviş Eroğlu.
