The banner was not what the meeting was about they were just provocateurs no more than 10 people, which have not done the TCs any favors only given morons like yourselves ammunition to throw at us like you do on this forum. We have apologised to Turkey for such an insult and relations are back on track. The ties between Turkey and the TRNC are just to strong to be impacted by a few banners and insults.

Although I would not dare to tell Turkey to f... off because they did help T/C from extinction in the hands of G/C. The banners in question, depends on your viewpoint now looking at the banners without in depth knowledge you would quickly come to a conclusion and say 'T/C are telling Turkey to pack up and leave we don't want anything to deal with you anymore'. But living here and amongst the protests on that day the message is we thank you Turkey for helping the state and we will like to continue strong relationships because there is no way we can cut that relationship, however we are angry on your iron fist and trying to implement your policies onto the T/C. So understand that we certainly need to keep our relationship with Turkey but not to fall under its rule. Although many would say the North is already under Turkey and it makes all decision for the North state that might be true, but for example minimum wage in N.Cyprus is higher than it is in Turkey so we are trying to send the message not to collapse and fall in line with Turkey if this is the case then you can reflect this anger onto the banners as such was the case above. You can clearly see this in Erdogan's reaction because he does not rule N.Cyprus he does not know the average Joe living here so he automatically fires without an in depth knowledge of T/C.
