u don't.

You live in a foreign country as a bloody foreigner.

 there are, proportionally, more "bloody foreigners" in my part of london than there are anatolian settlers in ur part of the northern latrine. but we're all here quite legally - and all proud Londoners!

Watered down "Cypriots" in limbo that it what you are.

watered down "turks" in limbo is wot u are, fruitcake.

No I know what I am thats a Turkish Cypriot.

You are a watered down British, born to Cypriot parents in the UK, living in a non recognised entity called the "trnc", created by ethnic cleansing in which the TCs do NOT originate from. You don't even know what constitutes a TC to be a TC, because it ain't the "trnc".!

Just what the hell are you, VP.?

I know what I am, I returned to my country and live in the TRNC as a proud Turkish Cypriot, it maybe unrecognized but its far better than living like you as a bloody foreigner in countries you do not belong or is yours.

Then please show me how your TC roots are in the "trnc".??

If the "trnc" is your country, then you cannot be a TC. The two cannot go together.! Something for you to ponder over, because just like those "The Crazy Turks" under it's own title thread, it seems like you too cannot tell the difference between Reality and Fiction. This is why I asked you if you knew what constitutes a TC to be a TC. It is obvious that you do not have a freaking clue.

Are you sitting comfortably? Good! Then I will begin.

It all started in 1960 when I was legally recognised as one. Then a lot of Greek shit happened and I formed my own state and all those that were living in the FORMER united Cyprus public now live here.

The End.

Don't you ust love a happy ending

Yes I would, if the "trnc" were able to issue all the "TCs" it claims to be it's citizens, with EU Passports.

Oh I forgot, it can't, because ONLY the RoC can issue EU passports to it's citizens, including the Turkish Cypriots who are legal EU citizens, courtesy of the RoC.! 8)

As a Scot who has lived outside Scotland for many years I completely disagree with this statement. I have a much better understanding of Scotland's place in the UK, EU and world by living and travelling outside of my home country. It's good to get an outside perspective rather than being completely immersed only in narrow parochial views and disputes.

I'd wager that TCs who have lived for many years in free and democratic countries where international law is respected and followed, and where their individual votes are worth no more than those of any other individual voters, are embarrassed by, and cannot justify, the actions of Turks and TCs in Cyprus in holding on to the spoils of an illegal invasion by force. In fact, there may be a case that by listening to those in the diaspora, many of whom left Cyprus because of the 60s and 70s problems, the internal wranglings and intransigence of the ongoing negotiations could be given fresh impetus.

Talisker,

You need a bit more travel my friend. AND a more open perspective. YOu leave out the fundamental need for TCs and people like us then of course you will come to this confused conclusion. There is some embarrassment for the whole of Cyprus and our history but wanting life and liberty AND recognition of our rights and identity seems to be so small as not to matter to a Scot like you. Or should I call you English

 No, but you can call me British. Think about it.....
