Tombs of the Kings up coming road works

Postby mike1967 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 5:17 pm

Hello if you own a business along the Tombs of the Kings road.
This message is intended for you.
We will be holding a meeting very soon; to discus the up coming road works that will be taking place this year.
Please don’t think that the meeting will be a waste of your time, because it will not.
About 10 years ago along the Tombs of the Kings road they dug up the road and put the sewerage and drainage system in. Business could not open for at least 3 months, it was done over the winter period and those days in summer we all made money so we could survive. The widening of the road is a very big project and most business can not survive, after being closed for 3 months or more. (Remember when you are closed you still have to pay rent and other large bills.) And with no income coming in it will be catastrophic for many businesses.
We are now in the EU and I feel we can get help over these times for the businesses and their employees. I have been making enquires and have had a lot of optimistic feedback.
We need to get together and appoint a good lawyer to investigate what our rights are. If we support each other I feel we can get results. So if you own a business or know someone who owns a business along the Tombs of the Kings road. Please let them know about this.
Email me at [email protected]
And we can arrange a date and time for the meeting to take place that is good for all of us.
Please note:
(This is only to inform the owners along the Tombs of the Kings road that there will be a meeting.)

There must be an EU law about this sort of thing!!! The council wants to widen the road to provide better access, so they should pay compensation for giving you the opportunity to increase custom.

Don't worry about it Mike.
By the time the bulldozers pull in, we'll all be enjoying our golden retirement.
You guys are looking at another decade at least before they start.
