Is it the Cyprus problem?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bye bye.

DTA, I am new here. I debate. I respect everyone's opinions. No matter how extreme they are. Are we to pick and choose who we engage with? Is it some unwritten CF rule I do not know about?

And that's EXACTLY why Turkey must stay in Cyprus to protect the interests of those who don’t want to be Greek!

That is exactly why someone will soon be going into Turkey to protect the interests of those who don't want to be Turks. Such as 20 million Kurds who speak Kuridish and should be living in a country called Kurdistan, not Turkey.

Understand?

No I don't actually, because you have NO ANSWER to my valid point so you jump to Kurds looking for a backdoor!

Kurds are relevant. Just the other day a leading Kurdish politician demanded the following. Let me know if you agree:

Kurds want NOTHING less than what Turkey preaches in Cyprus. Nothing less. They no longer want to depend on ethnic Turks' generosity.

Please take note:
- Union of Turkey and Kurdistan to replace today's Turkey
- a new flag to mean the unity between the two equal parts
- 65-35% power sharing in Parliament
- 65-35% guaranteed representation in all government posts
- 60-40% guaranteed representation in the army & police
- Kurdish veto rights on matters of security
- Kurdish and Turkish as the official languages of the state
- celebration of both Turkishness & Kurdishness in all walks of life

Kurds are sick and tired of ethnic Turks' hope!
87 long and bloody years of Kurdish hedious supression is proof that Turks' hopes and "efforts" mean diddly!

Well?

I'd much rather have the Kurds riot against the Turks and destroy them within, coz that's what's going to happen if they actually revolt. Good luck Kurds :)

Not wise. Either for the Kurds or for Cyprus. Best we highlight the hypocrisy. We will help make Turkey a better country, a better neighbor and remove them from Cyprus.
