Can’t find a “Greece” on the map!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Can’t find a “Greece” on the map!

Can’t find a “Greece” on the map!

Cypriots need to wake up to the fact that Greece is a 19th century creation (1829 to be more precise). Prior to that no such place as “Greece” EVER existed!

Trying to find a place called “Greece”…

Map of Europe 800AD - Greece here is called “East Roman Empire”

Map of Europe 1000AD - Greece here is part of the Byzantine Empire
(NB: Major chunk of modern Greece is labeled Bulgaria!)

Map of Europe 1200AD - Greece here is part of the Byzantine Empire
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/historic ... n_1190.jpg

Map of Europe 1300AD - Greece here is ignored! ???

Map of Europe 1400AD - Greece here is part of the Osmans.

Map of Europe 1815AD - Greece here is still part of the Ottoman Empire.
http://www.reisenett.no/map_collection/ ... 5_1905.jpg

This 1850 map is still not aware of anything called “Greece”!

I give up! I can’t find a single authentic map from the 1800s that includes an entity called “Greece”! :?

So calling Cypriots “Greek Cypriots” means what exactly?

That our great grandparents were in Greece in 1830 because I assure you mine were not!

In the early 1800s there were around 1 million of these "Greeks" who took Bulgarians, Albanians, Gypsies, and some other people and formed "Greece" so within a few years this population swelled to about 3-4 million and claimed direct inheritance to “ancient Greeks”!

From the same link....

Reading is fundamental. Read your own links . Pretty much answers all your questions and on Cyprus too. Also, you currently may not find this area on a map today but the mountain Turks still call some area in the middle east as Kurdistan. Now why is that?

Unfortunately for you, up to and including 1829 there was no such thing as Greece or Greeks anywhere on this planet, so any contemporary writings that refer to such labels/entities is nothing but a sham that was manufactured and propagated by these fraudsters in the early 1800s!

These people who call themselves “Greeks” today are nothing but an assortment of Bulgarians, Albanians, Ottomans, Slavs, and Gypsies, that have manufactured a false past based on fairytales and packaged themselves as a “distinct people with a 3,000 year history” when in reality they are a very recently manufactured state of anyone they could gather with a mere 180 years of “history”!

Yet they have the audacity to call themselves an “ethnos”!!!

Indeed… it’s an ethnos of Gypsies so it’s by no accident that this Gypsy state since its inception has NEVER achieved anything worthy of mention and has struggled throughout its existence to even feed itself!

This Gypsy here is upset and calling me “the most rotten to have emerged from society” because I am ruining his scam by exposing their lies!

You see, if you lookup the word “rotten” in a Gypsy dictionary you’ll find…

“He who exposes our scams and lies!” :?
