Why Unification WILL Prevail

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Why Unification WILL Prevail

Postby Kibrisli Turk » Sun Jan 30, 2011 8:46 pm

Here are the reasons:

1. Most TCs abroad now fly to Cyprus Direct to Larnaca as the Ercan indirect path is laughable and no longer viable.

2. The Checkpoints along the cease fire line are growing each year and will eventually destroy the Atilla Line.

3. Turkey has leaked out a report that it WILL open its ports to the ROC for more chapters. What a lovely "Motherland" we have!

4. That follows by saying that Turkey DOES Seriously want to become an EU member state.

5. The ECHR now forwards most, if not all, territorial case to the immovable Property Commission in "Northern Cyprus". Hence NOT the "TRNC", meaning that it see the commission as an authority IN THE Northern Part of the island only and not under the "TRNC". Meaning, the TC self styled Government is tricking itself with stealth recognition policies and ideas. It also reinstates that the Recognised Government of the immovable Commission in the North is the ROC.

6. The UN has clearly chosen to NOT step on the toes of the ROC and the EU in Bank-Ki-M's latest Blank report.

7. The flow of GCs and TCs has shown smooth unification and workability since its opening in 2003.

8. Eroglu is still Talking!

9. Following, why hasn't Turkey ever played serious with its False Claim of Recognising the "TRNC".

Ponder on those at the moment.....

Yes, I'm a Democratic Socialist Turkish Cyprus from EMU.

Sounds good, cowboy, but the EU, the UN, the USA and the whole world, is telling us that the only solution possible is Bizonal, Bicommunal Federation.

I wish you are right, but wishful thinking won't help. The ongoing talks (supported by all parts mentioned previously) are not based on what you propose ... so what makes you so optimistic? Any solid reasons you might want to share with us?
