Zcv appears when I press c on my keyboard

Also when I press the left shift key, my documents, music, and pictures folders open up, and when I press the number three, the firefox help screen pops up.

USB keyboard works ok tried uninstalling wireless keyboard software and cleaning then restart and install wireless keyboard software again.

It’s a common problem with Dell or Gateway computers running under W7 and using PS/2 keyboards. Anyway, things that may help…

1. (For W7) Control Panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center> Make keyboard easier to use > Un-select all special Kbd behavioral options that may have been enabled and click Apply-Ok.

2. By installing Microsoft’s “IntelliType” keyboard software which will hopefully update all USB, PS/2, and related drivers as well as taking control of Kbd input…

not using either dell or gateway was working great yesterday .

on restart this morning problem started .

Comfort or Laser Kbd?

Also, maybe something is electronically interfering (like back EMF) with the wireless dongle. Have you moved the USB dongle around to other ports?

If you’ve got System Restore enabled, how about rolling back your windows by a day or two?
