I've been getting a lot of this today while viewing the forum:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database


I keep thinking I must have been banned!!!

Are there some issues with the technical infrastructure of the forum?

So have I, if you copy and paste the error and google it, it will tell you what the error is, apparently this particular error is linked to forums.
I have had it a number of times in the past

You will be connected to database immediately; all the others will receive 'critical error' message to make way for you
