Yes Turkish Cypriots were united again..............

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Get Real! wrote:Let’s not forget the OFFICIAL reason they were demonstrating which was to complain about “Turkey’s financial package” which involved privatizations!

However, what some TCs were saying on GC cameras had nothing to do with the demonstration like…

“We want a free independent Cyprus”

“We want to be self governing”

“We want our GC brothers and sisters to come and support us”

And so forth! So I got a weird mix of messages from them… :?

Perhaps everyone was demonstrating for different reasons!

I suppose you think the students protesting in a "FREE" country like the UK is unreasonable too to you  Even without the siege situation you guys have imposed on us   It wont work mate. You should have realised that by now.

It is about International laws and Moral Codes. Human rights and honesty.

Can you honestly say a robber can demand support from the robbed?

And you can because? Give me back my rights as EQUAL partners in the ORIGINAL constitution then talk!!!!!! Sorry, shouldn't have said that, I forgot you are still holding a gun to my head!

You were NEVER EQUAL. Only by blackmail and threats did we have to temporarily accept you. Thats the crucks of your failing to understand the Cyprob.

Bananiotoglu and VP can screw each other until the cows come home, facists like them bear no relevence here. The 76%+ of the GC population has spoken before and will speak again if necessary.

You are the ones in need of a solution, just look whats happening on the otherside. Any minute now Turkey is going to give you all an almighty slap and tell you to behave and be good little boys and girls.

FFS! May I remind you that there are 40,000 Turkish troops in northern Cyprus. If you are feeling under siege I am not bloody surprised. But to blame Greek Cypriots for your predicament is just nonsense. International sanctions are in place against the puppet state that Turkey maintains in the north because it is in defiance of international law and UN resolutions. Just as apartheid-era South Africa was placed under sanctions for its appallingly racist policies.

The "TRNC" is no different. The sanctions are a form of international pressure and express disapproval of Turkey's occupation of northern Cyprus. If you don't understand this basic point then you are either wilfully stupid or just plain ignorant.
