This is really going to blow up in the Americans faces

While shouting their ideals of Democracy for the last 30 years they have been supporting a dictatorship in Egypt. ( not only Egypt but that is what the thread is about)

The people arent stupid, as with all populations in countries supported by the USA it is they who eventually will decide their government.

'Puppetmaster' rather than 'President' might be a more appropriate title for the leader of the American people.

There are so many strings attached to whatever 'Foreign Policies' they pursue, it is little wonder that they are so prone to entanglement.

Hopefully THIS time, the strings may form a 'Noose' and put an end to their influence (but I doubt it).

The Yanks have had their arses kicked out of Iraq (but by buying their way out they do not have to admit it), they are receiving the same treatment in Afghanistan (and are in the process of applying the same techniques there) hoping it will escape notice.

They now, having demonstrated their 'Military Might' ( ) are about to have their 'Political Might' put to the test.

Frank G Wisman (or could it be an anglicised Wiesman or Weisman) is the 'Envoy' sent by the Americans to negotiate the terms of a 'Transition'.

One wonders if Israel is aware of this development.

Yet another American puppet government is about to fall…

Jordan's King Abdullah II ousts prime minister, cabinet in wake of mass protests

Jordan's King Abdullah II on Tuesday dismissed Prime Minister Samir Rifai and his cabinet after widespread protests by crowds of people inspired by demonstrations in Egypt, Tunisia and elsewhere.
The monarch asked Marouf Bakhit - a well-regarded ex-general who is not tainted by allegations of corruption that plagued the former government - to form a new cabinet.

God bless the Republic of Cyprus

Plane with foreign citizens fleeing Cairo arrive in Cyprus

http://news.xinhuanet.com/english2010/w ... 715674.htm

NICOSIA, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- A plane with foreign citizens fleeing the Egyptian unrest arrived in Cyprus on Monday afternoon from Cairo, but other flights were canceled because evacuees could not make it to the airport.

An official at Larnaca Airport said about 700 people had been scheduled to arrive during the day on eight flights.

By late afternoon, however, only a U.S. Air Force transport plane had arrived with 42 people on board, all United States diplomats and members of their families.

A second plane which had taken off from Larnaca was scheduled to return by nightfall, but more details were not available.

The airport official said plans had been prepared for the two planes to shuttle between Larnaca and Cairo transporting evacuees who would be able to beat travel restrictions and demonstrations on the roads of the Egyptian capital.

He also said an Air Egypt flight from Larnaca, on which tens of foreign journalists would travel to Cairo on Monday, was canceled. He did not give any reason, but he had earlier said Cairo airport was congested.

The Cyprus government said it would grand requests from any country to use its airports and other facilities to evacuate their citizens from Egypt.

A spokesman said the United Stated had already asked the Cyprus government to facilitate repatriation of several hundred American citizens.

A crisis center has been set up at Larnaca Airport to oversee the operation.

Cyprus, strategically situated in the eastern Mediterranean, has been repeatedly used as a refuge by people fleeing from turmoil in neighboring countries, most notably Lebanon. About 60, 000 people fled to the island during the 34-day war of 2006 with Israel.

From ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-12332850

Google and Twitter have launched a service which circumvents the ban on net services in Egypt.

The so-called speak-to-tweet system allows people caught up in the unrest to post messages without any need to use an internet connection.

The service, which is already live, allows people to dial an international telephone number and leave a voicemail message.

The message is then sent out as a tweet with the hashtag #egypt.

People can listen to messages by dialling the same phone numbers (+16504194196 , +390662207294, +97316199855) or going to a special Twitter page.

F*cking neocommie government. Instead of banning flights with Egypt, they are bringing all those retarded muslims to our country.

I'd be 100% behind this if it wasn't for the Dublin II Treaty. Now I'm 90% behind it.
Are they going to stay here now? Or move to other EU countries?

Ella re Kurupetos, humanitarian actions. You cannot deny them that in situations like this.
Of course they should assist, as long as the people are dealt with accordingly.
I hear the US Embassy staff had evacuated to Cyprus, could have been them.

This also lifts the worldwide profile of our country and the next MF who says whats the use of little ol' Cyprus I'll ram this up their arses.

Relax man, keep it for the real enemy on our doorstep.

These retarded muslims are potential enemies if they are allowed to stay in Cyprus permanently. At least we should keep them locked in concentration camps until they can return to Egypt. And this provided the EU/UN will pay for their stay.

Well said, if may say so, B25, every point.

See Pharoah Muberaki supporters out on the streets and clashing with progressives. The Scumbag Muboureki not exactly going out of his way to resign quickly, ... and wonder who organised his supporters to turn up?

Could get very nasty if the army don't step in to separate them.
