Turkish plans to invade Greek islands

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Turkish plans to invade Greek islands

Postby Nikitas » Mon Jan 24, 2011 11:39 am

Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak yesterday had a front page report on plans by Turkish generals to invade Greek islands Oinouses, Leros, Kalolimnos, inorder to bring about the resignation of Erdoghan in 2002.

The sceanrios the paper mentions include the staged destruction of a Turkish air force plane which would give the necesary excuse for the rest, which included attacks against Leros and landings on Kalolimnos and Oinouses.

It seems the Turkish general staff are old hands at staged crises and trickery. The best in NATO by far.

They obviously think they are the best. Even Turkey's Foreign Affairs Minister likes to think of himself as a Statesman already.

But with all the rhetoric and the new crisis with Israel, we now see that the US is losing its patience and does not trust Turkey one iota.

Sure, they are friendly to their face, but behind closed doors there is a lot of activity between US, Israeli, and other EU members which Turkey does not know about.

They are beginning to learn the hard way, that Turkey can never be trusted, but at the same time, they don't want to push Turkey away. Perhaps they feel that they can still control Turkey, but Davutoglu's rhetoric is becoming more and more erratic, unstable and even extremely bold.

Turkey's arrogance towards Israel, its actions within the UN Security Council, and the idiotic claims within the Cypriot, and Greek EEZ, and its non recognition of the Israeli/Cypriot EEZ boundary has really showed them up for what they really are.

This will no doubt assist Christofias should the peace talks fall apart, because the US will hopefully fall over itself to highlight the real culprit.

Let's just wait and see what will happen. One thing is for sure. The RoC will commence drilling soon, and so will Israel. God help Turkey should it choose to interfere with US/Israeli interests and Europe's Gas supply.

If they want to invade, then let them. I can't see this going down too well with the US.

Poor Greece! It has to put up with so much shit from its neighbor and is forced to spend Billions upon Billions in armaments, even to this day, whilst its economy is falling apart and people are hurting financially, in order to be safe against such arrogance from Turkey and survive countless Airspace violations and other Turkish aggression throughout the entire Aegean. Even one of their Submarines was caught within 4nms of Kea Island just south of the Saronic Gulf.

This is not a peaceful nation. Erdogan and Davutoglu are nothing more than Eastern War Lords and all other East Mediterranean Nations need to band together. Israel knows this, and will form alliances so as to be able to deliver Oil and Gas to Europe, and will even go as far as defending the Cypriot EEZ, because Israeli Oil companies have interests there as well. They will also strive to contain both Turkey and Iran.

The writing is on the wall. Only Turkey cannot see it which is just as well!

It is just so like Turkey to increase Airspace Violations in the Athens FIR and even violate Greek National Airspace and overfly inhabited Greek Islands, thus terrorizing simple Greek Island folk who probably think they are being attacked, thus necessitating expensive Interception, which costs Greece many millions.

And then we have Erdogan and Davutoglu pretending to be best mates with Papandreou and Droutsas. Even whilst Papandreou was in Turkey, there were over 20 violations of Greek Airspace. They pretend to be friends to their faces, and yet still continue to twist the knives in Greece's back by attempting to bring down the entire nation of Greece by forcing it to spend resources it can ill afford.

Maybe they should go all the way, like the vultures they are by attacking Greece whilst the nation is weak and vulnerable. This is Turkey's style.

This is Davutoglu's "modern" Turkey, and we are all cursed to have such Eastern Barbarians (I am talking about the Turkish Military and Turkey's politicians) in our midst.

Papandreou, will need to capitalize on APAC's visit to Athens and turn on his charm with Hillary Clinton!

Good luck to him. Please don't let the Greek people down like many before you. They are so desperately in need of some good news before their spirit is completely shattered.

Even Pappoulias (bless him) speech managed to raise a few Turkish eyebrows. Yes, Erdogan and Davutoglu were very quick to attack Pappoulias' speech when Armenia's Foreign Affairs Minister visited Athens.

They attacked the speech because he stated that both Greece and Armenia have suffered from Turkey's Barbarian Genocidal attacks in the past. It seems that Turkey does not like to hear the truth but history does not change for anyone as Pappoulias countered.

The same thing occurred when Merkel visited Nicosia and commented on Turkey's unwillingness to compromise. Again, Erdogan and Davutoglu feel uncomfortable with the truth.

They seem very happy however to send their F-16s over to violate Greek National Airspace and send their submarines into Greek territorial Waters.

The Cold War with Turkey is still on, and Turkey will not cease until Greece is bought to its knees and crushed. These are our NATO friends and Allies.

God bless the New Greek, Cypriot and Israel Axis. Israel will come to our assistance and a clear line between East and West is beginning to emerge.

One ancient civilisation will band together and assist another!

They just can't resist their belligerent nature!

False flags, pogroms, genocides, burning down their own mosques, throwing bombs into banks and blaming EOKA, killing their own people and blaming GCs, invasions in the name of "peace" etc etc etc - it's all part of the same sick inability to leave others and their territories alone!

Bloody Turks!

Let's not forget the fact that Turkey has demanded apologies from Israel because of the MAVI Marmara incident and the unfortunate and yet unavoidable deaths of 9 people.

I sit back and watch in awe at this stupidity. They are demanding an apology from Israel? What the hell for? Did they honestly believe that the IDF was not going to defend itself? They had more than one chance to obey IDF directives. An apology for throwing their soldiers over the side, stabbing and hitting them with metal rods and sticks! :? :? :?

Recently, they demanded an apology from Merkel because she spoke the truth.

Who the hell do they think they are? Has Israel or Germany apologized yet?

And when do they think these apologies from Israel and Germany will be forthcoming?

I am sorry, but Turkey is really offering a lot of entertainment at the moment. They have totally lost the plot!

Just keep sending those planes over and invade an island or 2.

Fact is, we all know who the barbarians are and so are Turkey's former good friends and allies.

Does any serious and rational person believe that turkey is serious about modernization, human rights, and peace? The facts are all there, and if that isn’t enough, then go to Nicosia and look northwards and see that provocative piece of graffiti on the side of the mountain.

Meanwhile, let’s have more F-16s fly over small Greek Villages and shepherds attending to their flocks!

Its infuriating that everyday....people in Nicosia must view that monstrosity on the Pentadaktylos Mountain. What a sick joke.

Not so long ago Israel was cursed by most on this forum , Israel was hated I ought to add , I was hated too for supporting on one hand the right of the Palestinian people to their own state but also fully supported the right of Israel to exist.
It seems to me that hypocrisy has no bounds , one deranged individual on this forum took it upon himself to condemn Israel on a daily basis , challenged only by a handful of forumers.
Our strength must be our ability to differentiate between what is beneficial to the interests of Cyprus and what is not. A clear support of Israels and the West's enemies is not conducive to the interests of this island as history has demonstrated .
