Eroglu stateted today that he wants a belgium model for cyprus(funning that country wasent had a govt in place for 10 months)his points:

http://www.sigmalive.com/news/local/348000

In yesterday's reports, the Turkish pro-government newspaper Safak, citing diplomatic sources, said that the Turkish side will go into a tripartite meeting in Geneva, a proposal 'Belgian model'

The "linguistic division" rather than ethnic, will, according to the newspaper, the Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu. Under the proposal, "can not be installed on the Turkish side who do not know Turkish and Greek people who do not know Greek." An exception, however, those who are over 65 years, and Nicosia, where there "status will be similar to that of Brussels there are two official languages, Turkish and Greek.

The newspaper also cites a publication of the Turkish Cypriot newspaper "Kipris" to indicate that the Turkish package "provides a rule for each of the founding states" and "expanding the rights of the guarantor countries and proposed to guarantee the guarantor countries of the territorial integrity and the founding nations. "

Finally, the package provides for the founding states, the right to conclude agreements with other States in all matters not delegated to the Land.

For his part, in Geneva, the President will remain stable in solution based on Security Council Resolutions and will exclude any timetables or arbitration, as stated in a written statement the Government Spokesman and stresses further that an international conference can only be on the international aspects of the Cyprus problem.

Stefanos Stefanou made clear that was not raised by any member of the National Council to proceed with the President in Geneva, stressed that while the President again raised the issue of the Rally for the conversion of four-party talks or five, but did not get any support.

At the same time, ecologists faced with great concern the information itself, likely to be pursued by the United Nations Interim Agreement on Cyprus in March.

If this is the case christofias should immedialty request for a 82-18 split in land and then the t/c can have there belgian model and turkey can guarenntee the northern statelet

This is a Confederation, not a federation, but no problem, as long as by "Turkish side" he refers to those villages where the TCs are legally the majority and not to the Greek Cypriot lands which the Turks are illegally occupying.

So if he wants to continue living in Nicosia, which is a Greek Cypriot town, he should better start learning Greek, or else he should move to some TC village.

Absolutely NO to all Turkish 'shopping' requests!

No Turkish language and No Turkish giveaway of RoC land!

No, no, no!

All Turks, troops and settlers back to Turkey and RoC to govern the whole of EU-Cyprus according to democratic principles!

Can we assume by analogy that all TCs who do not speak the language of the nation to which they want to move should be barred from entry? DO all TCs who move to the UK speak English? Obviously they do not, I met many who could not.

Has Eroglu checked his facts regarding Belgium? Is he sure that French speakers cannot reside in the Flemish speaking part of the country and vice versa? Of course they can, the view that they cannot is his bird brained view of the situation in Belgium, when in reality he knows fuck all.
