I don't know if you're shallow or not, but I know it's not necessarily because you're "a girl" that you might be shallow. Time to dig deeper, dear!

But why bang on how BEAUTIFUL you think you are.

I personally think it is a sign of insecurity to do it or to get attention to see who agrees with them.

The thing is others may have different opinions, I know one thing and this people who do talk about how beautiful they are blah blah happen to be in my eyes unattractive.

I guess we'll never know.
But I think its healthy to have a positive attitude about yourself.
If wearing certain shoes boosts your confidence levels then that's a great thing.
You don't necessarily need to be beautiful to have sex appeal.

But, we shouldn't confuse that with people who are clearly delusional.

who knows? Figs might be beautiful AND sexy.

Another small contribution... As this is mostly about shoes, which go on feet, what is it with this obsession with shoes?

Can only guess that it's some kind of cover-up, some kind of hiding from reality cos let's face it feet are not terribly attractive. Mean have seen some very nice and desirable thighs, legs and even ankles but feet? No.

So there is only one way of settling this and that's for the CF Ladies to post photos of their feet for our expert consideration, especially Figgy.

Nope, more often than not no.
But body language in itself speaks volumes.
Beautiful people usually don't SAY it, but they portray it.

And on very rare occasions, some people haven't a CLUE that they're beautiful which is very evident in their body language.

Some have foot fetishes you know.
The only thing I find remotely attractive on a female foot is a high arch.
The rest remains a mystery.

In most cases the need for attention stems for insecurity, often the more attractive a woman is the more insecure they are. This is because ironically the large amount of attention they have received for their looks cause them to feel that is the only thing that gets them validation from others. The sub conscious feels that positive attention will help self esteem and security, but often it only makes things worse!

Someone who truly is confident and secure in themselves doesn't need any attention, their sense of validation comes from within not from others.
