Mothers banned from playgroup for being British in the UK

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Unfortunately Bill, these 'unfortunate' petty stories are remarkably all too common these days.
I mean how many 'insignificant' paint drops is it going to take to paint the proverbial wall red, before the left liberal 'feel good' lala land folks start realizing the danger?

The writing's on the wall, read it.

First of all there was nothing about Muslims in the article.

Secondly, such things are not uncommon. In Cyprus for example a poor refugee can get much more support from the state than an equally poor non refugee. Some money are allocated for the support of a group of people and others that do not belong in that group can not have access to the services offered even if they have as much need for them. I am not saying this is fair, I am just saying that it is not unusual.

About immigrants in general I believe that they should be supported by the state but at the same time they should also be made to understand that the country they choose to make their home has certain history and traditions that need to be respected.

Britain gets away quite lightly with looking after immigrants. They should do more. My concern was the way the church (with state funds) seems to surreptitiously work their "charms" on the unsuspecting. It reminded me of a junior school we considered (before going private) which was state funded but you had to be a member of a local church (Baptist as it happened) to be considered. Fine to have Church funded schools and fine to have State schools; but there are too many blurry boundaries which need clearing up in good ole Pretania.

As for the 1960 Constitution they imposed on Cyprus; I would now like their sober analysis on how it would work to satisfy their (burgeoning) minority community ...

Can't get no satisfaction from your chosen homeland eh?

I'd recommend moving to Cyprus!

Not that I am likely to tell a "flat-dwelling" troll where I live at any one time to be pestered at home as well as via the Internet ... but good ole Britain has a special place in our hearts since the Greeks were the first to chart its coastline, name it and put it on the map! :D

My understanding of the full news(radio)article was that they (the group)were for the benefit of East Europeans. :?

After my wife passed away I applied to the council to give me what Im entitled to receive. A 25% reduction on my rates which applies to all single occupancy properties. I received the reduction which amounted to just under £300 , nice I thought , a ticket to Cyprus.
Shortly after Xmas I received a letter telling me that a visit was to be made at my property to verify that I live alone , if I refused to allow the visit I would have the reduction withdrawn !!!!!
I cant believe the council that pays out hundreds of thousands to people who never contributed to the finances of this country chasing me for £300 !!
My niece , a school teacher over from Cyprus doing a course , is staying with me for a few months , rent free of course !!!! Cant win Im afraid so goodbye to my single persons allowance !!

Milti, have your niece register with the government as your "personal caretaker" around the house, so that she can receive benefits from the government for taking care of you. That should teach the local council for messing with you.

I am sure we know the answer, there would be some illegal immigrant screaming racism, and being listened to!

They WOULD NOT set one up just for British kids in the first place.
If you take a look inside the British schools nearly all are of mixed race, and there is nothing anyone can do about.
It is very strict in the UK when it comes to equal rights, employers would rather a photo is not attached to a CV so they cant be accused of racism, it goes on and on.
Come on even the gollywog on the jam jars was banned in the UK for racist reasons!!
It goes too far when mixed race cultures move to the UK and us Brits have to accept they have a right to be there, but for gods sake they should be made to made to respect its our country and they MUST abbied by our rules and accept it.
Two british born ladies refused entry with their two children is a disgrace, especially when their husbands are more than likely out at work paying for the playgroup to be there in the first place.
This is the lowest of the worst so far.
Think before you speak cbb, you are originally from uk/scottland and shame on you for the way you slam racism at your own.

BUT that is the rule and of course the argument in most cases.

Another example..we moved recently and were due to move into our new house but work was to be completed on the house so we stayed with my mother for a couple of months.
Mother was pulling her out as we should not have been staying with her as she claims help for her rent (so she should being nearly 70 and having paid all her taxes).
If the agency had known we were there they would have stopped her benefit entitlement, and im her daughter!!
The problem is THE PEOPLE who try to rinse the benefits department, legal aid system, etc make it very hard for the genuin poeple in our society.
The reason your money was stopped was because for all they know your relative could have been minted and rolling oin money so why should the gov give you money when your relative if minted can give it to you!!
Also how do you think my mother felt after having a very nasty fall in a supermarket and was left hurt needing injections due to the shop being responsible...claimed for compensation from the shop only to get a letter from working tax and pensions (WTP) asking her what she was paid out as any lump sum what falls into her hands is taxable!!??
She has worked to the extent that as a child i barely saw her for she was always at work and contributing to the tax system.
AND as difficult as is it to absorb, mixed race come to UK and get paid thousands and THEY HAVE NOT contributed a god damn penny!!!!!
