Sony KDL 40L4000

We just wanted a cheapish TV at the time, mostly for kids to watch DVD's. I wasn't aware (a) that it had a DVB T tuner (b) that there were diffrences in Standards.

Much Appreciated.

Which Sony TV models are compatible with the BRAVIA…

1. Internet Video Link (BIVL)?

2. Wireless Link?

3. Input Link?

4. DVD Link?

My Sony has that CAM slot too. Here's what the manual says about it...

Got a Neotion FTA card at Stephanis - Eu 49 which is about 43 British squids - thy sell, for 40 + P&P in the UK so the Cyprus price is not so bad.

It works but I cannot find some of the smaller local channels like Nimonia or Capital - not sure if they are transmitting digitally yet.

Oh right! Much better than getting one of those external monstrosities with all the cables hanging about and needing another power outlet!

I guess once installed and powered up, you had to scan for digital channels (just like you scan for analog) which you then saved into available memory slots right?

As for digital channels, just read here under “Free-to-air”…

I'd already tried to tune in. I put the card in and switched on, and it picked up the previous tuning. I did a retune any way. Everything was saved automatically.
