Bir these people are so blind, they have not changed one iota, its the same turn the other cheek mentality Im right you are wrong blinkered viewpoint that divided and continues to divide the island today. Will they still want a unitary state in 20 years time with 2 million new TCs in the north? dont think so they will be begging for partition.

Doubling/tripling a population is not as easy as you think it is because its not simply a question of just moving them there.

You need to provide housing, schools, hospitals and energy but to name just a few requirements.

I doubt that it will be at a scale of the population explosion that you are describing.

If its true somethings got to give.

Economically, what's going to this sustain this significant increase?

Is Turkey going to increase it's handouts to the occupied areas or are the TCs going to have to reduce their quality of life, e.g. pay reductions as cheap labour will come in from Turkey?

Find a way to cater for a couple of thousand English pensioners in the occupied areas where they're on Cyprus 44 complaining about power cuts, no drainage and roads that never got built....then aim for the 2 million Mark. For starters Where are they gonna take a shit?
