How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The Greek communities of Egypt and other countries do not date from the ancient Greeks. Ask your Arab friends, if you have any, to tell you.

I lived in Egypt, where my mother's family had businesses, for some years. I know first hand the situation. Do you?

Exactly my point Nikitas :? We are not the Ottamans and you are not the ANCIENT Greeks. All communities are treated to the same tolerance until things go wrong. That is reality!!!!!

I would love to hear Bananiot's interpretation of these proposals. No doubt there will be the usual "each new proposal is worse than the last one, it is our fault for not accepting the last one". To which the counter is that the new proposal shows us what the Eroglus had in mind when we were discussing the last one.

While we talk BBF and such bullshit they are really talking partition. IF partition is on the table then let us call it by its name and stop the crap about unitary states and federal structures. Negotiating partition openly and realistically puts a whole different slant on things and changes the international situation radically. Using the word reunification to disguise it obviously helps the invader.

Who is fooling who in this idiotic game anyway?

Nikita, you have just stated we we all know already. Save your breath with Bananiotoglu, for there is no action the GCs can take to please him, other than accept everything the Turks place before us.

To him we will always be racists, facists, cretins and rejectionists, because we keep rejecting every shit of a plan to rob us of our own country. As far as Bananiotoglu is concerned, as long as his Turkish mates are sorted, he couldn't give a shit about the GC comminity.

All the same, a good post. btw, do you have a link to where Mr E. made that statement? Are those his actual words?

If this is the best Turkey can do, they might as well stop wasting everyone's time and call it a day with regard to the EU.

You are clearly not going to have your cake and eat it.

You seriously think Erdogan wants EU?? He hates Christians. He has Arab Union in mind.

"Erdogan is a hero in Arab countries. "

Is that your take on Al Ahram articles about the Davut plans of a new Ottoman sphere of influence? You need to read more. Do you have Arab friends? Do they tell you their view on Davut's ideas?

You might also like to read The Art of War re territory and its strategic meaning. Cypriots have survived on this island much worse than the current setback. They are still here. Where are the Ottomans?

Hold on tight to your false named Koys, hang more flags to convince yourselves of your claims. Keep counting the grams. Anyting to seave your self esteem and kid yourself you are not stealing.

Ergohan's statements are all over the Turkish press. It was in response to Angela Merkels call for Turkey to act for real progress in the Cyprus talks. You will find them in several Turkish press sites. If you need a reference I will find one for you.

Of course rejected, were they accepted??? What the opposite of accept?? Whatelse will you call it. When the deal is shit, you don't just expect us to take it with both hands do you????

Every possible solution/plan/give it any pseudo name you want, that was ever placed before the GC community was to favour your lot. We would always be worst off than we are today, why would we?

You can place as many deals forward, until there is one that is right for us, you can stick them up your arse.
