The reason Enosis does not exist today because TC exist and because of Enosis,'Taksim' exists. So the road ends at Enosis.

Enosis=extinction & union with Greece
Taksim=Sharing the island between two communities seperately to avoid extinction.

Both may have the same meaning in regards to humanitarian violation and destruction of Cyprus which ever way you want to interpret both. But you just need to look at the history in brief during the time of Enosis 50's, 60's and 70's no peace in sight after 74' the separation (Taksim) no inter communal violence has happened.

While you consider the fact that a Turkish organisation with Turkish military officers that were sent to Cyprus to split it, is cause for innocence because it was started 3 years after an anti colonialist organisation......also consider this: ask yourself how could it have been that immediately after the 13 points of Makarios a fully armed and manned Turkish millitary organisation was operating in Cyprus? Especially considering that their arms were meant to have been surrendered in 1959.

Enosis via EOKA was a Cypriot Campaign --- did you not hear what our Colonialist Brits said?

What was Taksim?

You cannot compare Taksim with the Cypriot Campaign Struggle of EOKA desired by the majority of Cyprus.

At most, compare Taksim with the junta's coup in 1974. So in that case - the coup in 1974 came AFTER the TMT Taksim instigation - and probably because of Taksim!
