Have you considered that it is the Turkish occupation of a sovereign nation that is responsible for the international isolation and embargoes of northern Cyprus? It is called a sanction. It is often used by countries against places which are considered outside the norm of civilised behaviour such as apartheid-era South Africa and other despicable regimes.

The embargoes are against Turkey's attempts to legitimise the occupation. The Turkish Cypriots are therefore not just in league with Turkey's actions but also victims of Turkey's illegal policies. There is no point in blaming Greek Cypriots who are merely defending their rights and homeland.

This island also belongs to TCs, they have rights to be able to use it in safety and as equals, this was not allowed by the GCs and our isolation started in 1963 when Turkey was not around not 1974 as GCs wish to make the world believe. You GCs messed up big time when you had the chance to build a Cypriot nation, if Im paying the price with isolation then you are paying by losing 37% of this island. Even with all the disadvantages we have in the TRNC it is much much preferred to anything the GCs have to offer.

You increasingly sound like a rapist who is blaming his victim for provoking him.

Don't confuse rights with privileges which your leaders abused to benefit your overlords.

You guys are now paying for your treachery.

Had you used your privileges for the good of the republic, you wouldn't be second-class citizens in your homeland today.
