How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Make up your mind Bananiot. Do you want modern Greeks (including GCs) to follow ancient Greek virtues (stoicism) or not?

The above is true, but Stoicism is regarded as a school of Hellenic philosophy and was certainly adopted by the ancient Greeks. Therefore, my point still stands. (Bear in mind Stoicism was actually founded in Athens).

Today's the day. Good luck to the T/Cs in persuading their Turkish overlords to keep them in the lifestyle they feel they are entitled to.

Faced with economic austerity and rising living costs, disgruntled Turkish Cypriot opinion is often focused on the Turkish government in Ankara, which many see as exercising its own political and economic will against the interests of the island’s indigenous population.

“Who is going to stay and work for these salaries? Most will go to Europe, and we’ll be replaced by people from Turkey,” 28 year-old schoolteacher Hatice Dortlemez told the Mail.

Most will go to Europe (Bye Bye, when do you leave??), and we’ll be replaced by people from Turkey,” 28 year-old schoolteacher Hatice Dortlemez told the Mail.

  You have got to laugh, next they will be blaming EOKA and Papadopoulos for making them leave Cyprus

If I were turkey, I would be laughing my arse off at these plonkers. They shut everything down in protest, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. It doesn't affect Turkey you morons, she is tucked away 40 miles away living comfortably or are you too stupid to notice that.

As for the comment by the resident bananiotoglu plonker, In Tunisia the government and the people are one and in the same country. In case it's too difficult for you to understand, any action by the people directly affects the government and the country. Unlike the pseudo state where it affects no one but themselves. As Mr Miltiades would say, bloody Plonkers.

Go on Turkey, I challenge you, cut off their finance for just 6 months and we'll see if they fall into line or not, and Turkey came to save them.  Hey VP, are you watching??? Where's your saviour now, huh?????

They talk to their mother like they own her and mama only has to stop the next payment and they are all out on their arses.

Will they ever learn? Its funny really, to hear them threatening action towards Turkey, I can't stop laughing over it. It's just crazy.

The thoughts of many oop North :o

Was looking forward to hearing your input in this VP. Would you agree that these communists and trades unionists and over-fed trouble-makers like Halil have never done a day's honest work in their lives and have only their own greed in mind?
