I agree that in this phase of history (either we like it or not) "Cyprus is Greek, but not only Greek"!
You see, the half island is occupied by Turkey!

But please let me know your opinion about the statement "Turkish troops out of Cyprus"

ManOWar, what is your feeling about the Falkland Islands/Islas Malvinas. Do you feel that they should be handed over by the UK to Argentina?

If the majority of their population decide so, yes!
(It is a matter of democracy - something difficult for a turk to understand)

OK, so say that the troops go back home tomorrow morning. Will then Cyprus be ONLY Greek?

If turkish troops go back home and if Turkey leave all Cypriots to live together in peace, of course Cyprus will have its turkish part (Turkish Cypriots). And, believe me TC have nothing to be afraid in a free and democratic Island. We respect every minority (and its history and culture) on the island.
What we do not like is to be ruled by the minority... We want a pure democracy! (I think you understand what I am saying...).

However, Cyprus Greek history will be there and no one can delete it!
That is the only think I am trying to say!
Each community will still have its own history which must be respectable!
