I was reading an article on current Turkish Polygamous practices. Does this occur much in the Occupied areas? What status will second or third wives have under a United States of Cyprus?

this from the article:
'Turkey does not legally recognize polygamous marriages but the practice still exists in some areas. Second wives are married in religious or cultural ceremonies and have few legal rights.'
so the man has a mistress but her and any kids she may have with him don't have the same legal status as the first wife.
