Davutoglu's "Strategic Depths" of ... depression!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Oracle, In your dreams! There are enough problems seeking to undo the mess of the past 48/50 years, and IMHO you are living in cloud-cuckoo land if you think that that the clock will be turned back even 88 years , let alone 558 years or even over 2000 years or so, to the time before the eastern Med became a Roman Pond, particularly as The Greek Government recognised the territorial integrity of mainland Turkey back in 1923, so it ain't yours any more, or is ripping up of treaties a GreeK speciality?

After all the Greek Government did it in 1974 with the Junta inspired coup, (which gave the Turks the excuse the needed to Invade) and don't lets have the blame the CIA Crap because those Greek Colonels knew full well what they were doing and could have said no, as could the Cypriots who were in EOKA B, or were they all fools and dupes?

Personally I want a settlement that means as many people that are of Cypriot nationality by virtue of the 1959 agreement, 1960 consitution and the lawys of the RoC, whether/ Turkish speaking / Moslem or Greek Speaking / Orthodox can return to the properties they were forced to flee in the various troubles. Megali died in 1923: Enosis and Takism should have died in 1960, but IMHO its fools like you who continue to promote such ideas as Megali, and Enosis that cause the Turks to dig their heels in, and give the Turks the excuse they need prevent this.

1. Turkey to stop begging the West - AKP to lead Turkey back to East, Iran and Islamist Regime of Sudan - Genocides Good!

2. Hamas - like Halva also good! Remember Erdoğan said, “I do not think that Hamas is a terrorist organization". Turkey’s outreach to a number of terrorist groups is part of its “zero problems with neighbors” policy.

3. Undermine relations with Israel : Erdoğan say, “friendship with Israel is over” and “it is out of the question for Israel to use NATO facilities”. - I hope NATO-Israel ties are not robust!

4. Distance Armenia - make them go on long walk.

5. Secular democracy - Here we can fool everyone. Obama was a Muslim and now is Christian! Who cares.

6. Populist authoritarian regime is rooted in Islamism. More, more, more headscarves!

7. European Union too haughty. Decisions, decisions, decision? Cyprus or EU? :? Sleep on this one.

8. “Zero problems with neighbors” and to foreign policy relations. Visa-free travel to EVERYBODY!

9. The return of the Sultan? Yes, methinks! Facilitate arms transfers to al-Qaeda and Hezbollah, and ignore Obama's requests to improve relations with Israel.

10. OMG I hope there is no strengthening of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, or Kurdish autonomy in northern Iraq.

11. Turkey to actively support all Arab and Muslim causes against Israel.

12. Turkey to continue to support Iran's nuclear program ( Ignore US concerns - no one notice!).

With guidance from Turkish Policy Quarterly. :D

My signature, your motto reminded:

O.: I don't care about Türkiye's problems.

I see an obsessed liar bitch around.

I don't care to hear about the "delights of Turkey" only its demise! So, no lies. I'll enjoy its "delights" when it's back in the hands of the rightful people.

As for your personal problems, they are evident each time you post.

BTW those are real policy decisions - no comment!
,,,

It's been days and you still haven't announced to whom you will hand in Kars to. Both armenians and Kurds claim the land after your bright threads. Come on lady they can't wait forever.

Unlike the fascist Turks, I don't make such decisions for others. You seriously think Turkey has a right to help herself to any, perceived, disputed territories?

Studog - don't be naive. You seriously think a mere 90 years of newly 'claimed' territory can compete with thousands upon thousands of years of recorded historical rights? Why, the native American Indians are only now regaining sovereignty over their lands after, some Centuries of loss!

"You're not getting a single stone back bastarda"

So what are we negotiating about? My point all along. It shows the real mindset of a community raised on a culture of plunder. Enjoy your Enosis.

Who cares about negotiations for fuck's sake. Türkiye gained that land after a war and if you want to get it back, you will have to fight for it which I seriously doubt 8) Just forget about it and watch your step so you won't lose the rest.

Knowing how pussies the Turks are in battles, I'd say go for it if it's the only possible solution. There's no way Turkey can win a battle without foreign aid and we all know that.
Heck it took them 11 years to strike a tiny island just underneath their mainland and they had to wait for a disarming conspiracy in order to act! Outburst in 1963, they couldn't move a finger so they sent the UN instead and 11 years later they decided to launch a full scale invasion with hundred thousands troops against 2000 scattered defenders! And still could not win every single battle in Cyprus... (key word RPG  )

1453: 300.000 vs 3.000 and they still needed a betrayal from within the fortified defenders in order to reach into the city, through the Kerkoporta.

1922: They needed to come to agreements with the British and French in order to get them to go against the Greeks who were getting their lands back and could have joined an alliance with the Soviets. The British didn't want Greece to reach its actual size and in fear of a powerful alliance of Greece-Soviet Union, they forced another betrayal in Greece between King and Venizelos... Turkey was just there saying to the western powers that I'll give you money if you give me the the Greek lands they want back! Apparently that happened 7 years after Britain declared war on Turkey for joining with the Germans in WW1

This is the story of the supreme Turkish army against the "insignificant" Greeks...

We'll get to 1987 and 1996 in a while if you want.

I can seldom recall seeing such a large collection of misconceptions and conspiracy theories in one small piece of writing. Keep it up. The home of mythology will be proud of you

Misconception???

1974, Cyprus Artillery moved from Keryneia to freaking Pafos 1 month before the invasion.
Pentadaktylos cannons are left unattended and northern defense line of Cyprus is non-existent.

Kerkoporta is not for real?

1922 where the French and British promised the Greeks to give them supplies in order to get their lands back (Constantinople & Smyrni) then they told Venizelos they'd give him support if he furthers the assault to Ankara while they were providing Kemal with supplies and armaments and stopped supplying to the Greek army? False as well?

Conspiracy theory?  That's all I can do with people who don't like facts and take them as conspiracies because they were told that it's much cooler or whatever   Just laugh at them...

Next thing I'll hear in this place is that Greece was not the decider of WW2
