It certainly would if it didn’t come naturally!
Here’s what being natural Cypriot is all about…
Today I was driving away from a bakery and heading home for lunch when all of a sudden the car in front of me stopped dead in its tracks to greet an old woman. She came over to the driver’s window and they had a conversation, and finally after 2-3 minutes the driver accepted a plate of something covered with a kitchen towel before saying goodbye to her and driving off, while I and a bunch of other cars behind waited!
As a typical Cypriot, instead of getting upset about this and sounding the horn I found myself wondering what they were talking about and fantasizing what tasty delicacy might be on that plate!
I even opened my window so I could hear better what they were saying just in case I missed out on anything interesting!
I don’t even have to do anything to be Cypriot… it comes naturally!

If you can't afford it or have something against the state system, perhaps, 'home tuition' - I would advocate it Cheapsake huh!

As for "home tuition", you are clearly clueless. It can be far more costly even if one possess the know-how to surpass even the (above) average teacher. But, a mix of both is probably optimum, as the years progress.
P.S. Forgive my boldness, Bubbles; but, I don't like your new avatar!

By this, I take it you mean; "Why don't outsiders leave us alone when we declare what we are?"!
It's the foreigners who are confused. Not us Cypriots. Especially us Greek ones!
