I am 100% sure the title belongs to APOEL this year, our squad is just too strong....Omonia plays indifferently. I hope to see Anorthosis in Europe, I was so happy to see their run in the CL in 08/09, I was cheering them on too. I actually could not believe how well that team did....they played great football too.

Anorthosis ended up beating APOEL 2-0 today. They really needed this win to have any shot of finding a way to compete in Europe next year.

Kostas Vasileiou (AEK) [from Apoel, ages ago as well]
Panos Shialos(Panathinaikos) [from Anorthosi]
Iakovos Kovis (Panathinaikos) [from Anorthosi]
Panikkos Iakovou (Panathinaikos) [from Anorthosi] these 3 playes were in the late 50s early 60s in Greece
Dimtris Zagkilos (AEK) [from Anorthosi] 1961-3
Panikkos Kristallis (AEK) [from Apollon] 1961-3
Andreas Stylianou (Panionios) [former Apoel player]
Pavlos Vasiliou (Olympiakos) [from EPA] mid 60s
Andreas Christodoulou Pakkos (Panathinaikos) [from Omonoia]

klik there is also a retired cypriot player (goalkeeper) residing in the uk now, played for Olympiakos, i forget his name! do you know? hes maybe 60 now

Tasos Konstantinou moved to AEK from EPA in 1973, and stayed with us until he retired in 1981, he won back-to-back titles in 1978, 1979 with the famous squad of Barlos that made it to the UEFA cup semis.....

Bajevic, Ardizoglou, Dedes, Papaioannou, Mavros, Wagner, Ravousis....today's AEK is so inferior.

We also had a cypriot player called Georgios Kavazis in 1999/2000, from Apollon Limassol......Takis Timotheou another cypriot player we had in the mid-70s...

Dimitris Zagylos another Cypriot player for AEK in the early 60s, we got him from Anorthosis. Panikos Chatziloisos another one for AEK in 1979/1980

Lefteris Kouis played for Apollon Smyrnis from1984-1987....he later went on to play for APOEL. Theodoros Neofytou also played for Apollon mid-70s....

And Simos Krassas (how could i forget?) played for AEK 2004/2006.
