That's because there isn't such thing as a "new TCs", is the reason why the settlers (Turks) can't cross into the RoC. All TCs who are eligible to cross, can cross and do cross for many reasons and purposes. The RoC is not the only place the settlers can't cross into. They cannot cross into any other EU member country, but TCs can. I know it must be a slap in the face for people like you who revere Turkey at all cost, but Turkey doesn't seem to care too much about you. She ONLY cares as to what happens to the TURKS, her own people in the RoC and not the TCs. You are such a sucker for punishment by Turkey. First they want 50% of all the new public jobs to go the settlers and now, they don't even care what happens to the TCs in the RoC. 1974, 450 million a year financial support, 40.000 soldiers, and refusal to apply the Ankara protocol is more than enough proof that Turkey cares, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
