:oops: Hello
my name is Laura,i resign my job at 31 december without a prenotice,after 1 year and 9 months;my boss was very understanding and alowed me to do this and now i need to know where I have to adress for the uneployed beneffit,I need this for at least 2 months until i start a new job.If you can give me some information about this I'll be very gratefull.thank you. :? :)

Get another job or go to your old one. Why would one make themselves unemployed - I hope you have a good reason.

It sounds like she may have a new job commencing in two months D!

So she could have stayed in her old job for another two months. What was the rush. You wimin have to stick together don't you. :lol:

If she is desperate for benefits, she should have stayed on - unless we do not know the full story. :?

If she qualifies for unemployment benefit, as she resigned she will get nothing for the first month and it will take up to six weeks to get anything after that. So probably not a good idea to stop work.

What if she had a valid reason for resigning and her employer backs her story - she may get benefits then - yes?

No, if you resign you get nothing for the first month.

No. When claiming for benefit, it will take forever to arrive. Made a claim last year after having to take 6months off sick (knee injury). First cheque arrived after 2months.

second:i had good resons to leave the job otherwise (as u said)who is make himself unemployd?
3rd:i only want an advice which very well i can get it from the social insurance but people with previous experience are more helpfull.
anyway thank you all for let me some of your knowledge about this.
